In 1948, founder Gary Vermeer started what has become one of the premier manufacturers of agricultural, environmental, and underground construction equipment. It began with a simple wagon hoist, designed to make the job of unloading grain faster and easier for him and his neighbors. 
The "neighborhood" has since grown to include almost every continent on the globe, and now it's your job that we want to be easier and profitable. Technology can be universal, but the history and reputation of Vermeer cannot be duplicated.
Today, the company manufacturing and parts has expanded to more than 130,060 square meters. Employees in Vermeer are specialised in designing and producing machines and products used to build and maintain the world infrastructure. Vermeer has almost 6 decades of experience in construction, forestry, agricultural, and mining applications, which has led to new solutions that help customers develop innovative applications. The company has been in a leading position in underground construction, environmental and agricultural industries in the world.
Vermeer Manufacturing and our independent, authorized dealers posses a drive to continuously do things better. It starts in the corporate office and weaves through the welding areas and assembly lines of seven manufacturing plants.
